-
Coaching combines voice pedagogy, nervous system awareness, somatic practices, and creative expression to help people build a more connected relationship with their voice.
-
Not at all. Some clients are professional performers, while others simply want to feel more comfortable speaking, singing, or expressing themselves.
-
My coaching and educational offerings integrate vocal pedagogy, the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, trauma-informed principles, and embodied practices to support creative expression, nervous system awareness, and personal growth. These services are educational and coaching-based and are not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.
-
Wonderful! Many clients find that voice coaching complements psychotherapy. With your consent, I'm also happy to collaborate with your therapist when appropriate.
-
Yes, many people with histories of trauma find voice work supportive. My work is trauma-informed and emphasizes safety, choice, and nervous system awareness. If someone needs psychotherapy or a higher level of mental health care, I'll encourage them to work with an appropriate licensed professional.
-
Traditional voice lessons often focus primarily on vocal technique and performance, while therapy is designed to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions. My work sits in a different space. My goal is not only to help you develop your voice, but also to cultivate a more compassionate, connected relationship with yourself through the experience of singing and self-expression. While this work can be deeply meaningful and personally transformative, it is educational and coaching-based in nature and is not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.

Every session is guided by voice as relationship. While each session is personalized, most follow a simple flow:
VIBE Check
We begin by checking in with your Voice, Inner world, Body, and Emotions to understand what feels most present and what your nervous system needs that day.Mic Check
Together, we get curious about the protective parts, beliefs, or patterns that may be influencing your voice, creativity, or self-expression, approaching them with compassion rather than judgment.Sound Check
We bring those insights into embodied practice through breath, movement, vocal exploration, and technique, helping you discover new ways of expressing yourself that feel more connected, authentic, and sustainable.
You'll leave with practical vocal exercises, reflective practices, or nervous system tools to continue building a relationship with your voice between sessions. -
Only if you choose to. Astrology is an optional lens for reflection and meaning-making, never a requirement.

Yes. My practice is designed to be a welcoming, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirming space where autonomy, consent, and individualized learning are central. I have training in gender-affirming voice care and intentionally adapt my teaching to support diverse nervous systems, identities, and ways of learning.
